White Story Inspo//White and Gold

All images sourced from Tumblr by searching 'white and gold'

At work I was asked to collect some images to use for a mood board to communicate some inspiration for all white accessories, as apparently all white is going to be huge soon, which I can't wear because i'm a very messy girl and would just get chocolate or makeup all over myself... so yeah, These are some of the images I got, I also snuck in gold, because who doesn't love white and gold. It's more of an inspirational page, so I hope you get inspired.. maybe paint all your walls and furniture white? Paint your new coat white? Don't know, go mad! Enjoy!

Will you be wearing all white this season?

Ootd #1- Evening Date to Prezzo

I went to Prezzo the other night with my boyfriend and it was delicious, bloody love pizza. I wore a like, shimmery metallic top from New Look I hadn't worn before but bought way before Christmas.. tend to do that often. I love the shape of this top, the only problem was the glitter on it was getting absolutely everywhere which is a pain. I wore my new New Look knee slit jeans, I love jeans, I find them comfortable and go with absolutely everything, ultimate lazy dresser essential aka me. I have to wear belts with my jeans though, because I can never find a perfect fit for my body. I have a small waist but struggle with the thigh and booty area, so can never win with jeans, but I don't mind wearing belts! Lastly I wore my block heel Chelsea boots from Primark, which were so uncomfortable when I first bought them, but now they're fine. I have a small hatred for wearing heels, well I say small, it's pretty big. It's not that I don't want too... It's just that they kill my feet so much and I'm a big baby when it comes to shoes hurting. I have these shoes I wore once for 15 minutes until they ripped up all my feet, and haven't worn them ever again, what a waste of money, but I am a big baby when it comes to shoes, like I said. I need to look for new block heeled Chelsea boots though because I mainly wear these ones when I go out clubbing and that, and they're so grotty now, it's not good. Jewellery wise I don't really wear much because it usually ends up irritating me and I take it off. I wore my Tiffanys necklace which Luke got me for Christmas and haven't taken it off since (apart from in the shower and bed obvs but you know what I mean) and my dearly loved Pandora bracelet which has enough room for one or two maybe charms, which makes me happy.

What do you think of this outfit?

Nice Clean Brushes..

I'm usually extremely lazy with makeup brushes because I have loads but I don't.. Like I have brushes which I love and use every single day, but I need to use them everyday, so I need to pick days to wash them when I know I won't need them the next day, If you get me. Maybe I need to invest in duplicating my everyday brushes so I can have them on a roster so they get cleaned more regularly.. HMM! We shall see.

My brushes are all mainly Sigma, as they're reasonably priced and I find them easy to clean and use. I haven't bought any lately in about, years as I come to think about it, as these were all bought when I first discovered beauty blogging and YouTube so spent all my teenager weekend job wages on them, so they last well as well! Bonus! My most recent brush purchases have been Real Techniques and I am dying to buy their new Bold Metals collection but I need to wait till payday, and after paying off bills, rent and a trip to Amsterdam me and my boyfriend have been planning, I doubt it'll be likely I'll be able to get them.. all.. maybe one or two..

Honestly, how good are you with the cleaning of your brushes?

Faking it...

I do not like fakes and designer knock offs. Defeats the purpose or appeal of saving up and splurging and treating yourself, plus when you do have a real designer, you don't want people eyeing it thinking 'I bet that's fake!'. I've always hated designer knock offs. I remember one time I went to Spain with a friend, was just the two of us, we went to this remote part of the island of Majorca which was actually beautiful and the shopping was actually decent. We found this bag shop which was selling designer knock offs, she purchased a Marc Jacobs purse and I went for a Louis Vuitton purse. I felt guilty every time I got this out and used it. I knew it was fake, the lady at the till knew it was fake. Couldn't deal with it. When it broke I was thrilled to throw it in the bin and bid farewell to the purse of lies, and never bought a fake with my own money again. Until now.

I think about designer handbags everyday basically. When me and my boyfriend walk through the John Lewis in town to cut to Asda faster, he has to hold my hand and drag me through the bag section as when Michael Kors hits my eyes I'm hypnotised (how fly is that wording). For Christmas I asked my parents for a Michael Kors bag, they went and Googled how much it was then laughed and told me to pick something else, so I went for a Michael Kors purse, close enough. I love it so much, I just need a beautiful bag to put it in now!

One of my designer handbag goals, is a Celine mini luggage bag They're beautiful. They're nearly in all my Polyvore sets because this bag goes with bloody everything. I love seeing Kylie Jenner rocking hers and I love it when my tumblr feed is full of pictures of this bag. I want one! But the odds of me affording this any time soon, or ever, is incredibly slim. In my spare time, I am a Googler, I love to Google, and I stumbled across a page selling these Celine style of bags for cheap and reading the reviews it sounded pretty worthwhile. Everyone was saying how surprised they were with how good and sturdy this bag was, so that was it, I did it.

I instagrammed a photo of this bag last night (picture at the top of the post) and it's probably the photo I've ever got the most likes on believe it or not. I even ummed and ahhed over even posting it because I was openly admitting I had bought a designer knock off! But I don't feel like it's a bag of lies unlike my Louis Vuitton purse all that time ago. I bought it purely because I love the shape and style of this bag, and why should I miss out on it just because I don't have £1500+ to spend on a handbag. One day I will be able to chuck this one and replace it with the real, but until then, this will have to do. And hopefully this is the last fake I buy, not that I'm snobby, it's just a nice feeling when you finally save enough for the real thing and get to flaunt it round!

Have you got any designer knock offs you've ever regretted buying or are proud to call your own?

Lush Lately..

Alike every young adult in the country right now, I am loving lush. I have always done but lately it's all I have been wanting to spend my money on. My recent purchase has been the one that seems everyone has been buying according to my Instagram feed, but why the hell not, it looks amazing and who doesn't want a unicorn melting fabulously in their bath. The product I have actually used recently has been the Granny Takes a Dip. I always see mixed things about this one and this was my first time using it but I actually really enjoyed it. The colours were great, especially when it had finished fizzling, it left this beautiful hot pink shade which I enjoyed bathing in. The scent and feeling of my skin when I finished my bath was fab as well, so overall I really enjoyed this product, which was actually not one I picked myself but one my amazing boyfriend surprised me with last week when I got home from work which was the best thing ever.

My next bath will be filled with magic and sparkles and I cannot wait to use the Unicorn horn. I am also looking into buying the new Prince Charming shower gel, as anything with marshmallow on the label has me reaching for my purse, cannot resist.

What have you been loving in Lush lately? And have you bought the new Unicorn Horn yet? Be honest...... Well you're definitely planning to if not ;)

New Year, New Blog..

Well Hello blog, it's been a while..

It's not like I don't think about you.. honestly! You're always on my mind.. I've been thinking about you alot recently and I've decided it's time I make more time for you in my life..

Yes, I'm going to give this blogging thing another go. It's not like I don't want to blog, when I finished uni things went on a mad whirlwind of hello bam career straight away, so the majority of my day and time is taken up. I read blogs every single day on my Bloglovin app on my phone and I watch my favourite YouTubers whenever they post and keep up with all the social media antics, it's just the actual me blogging part I haven't actually done, since, ages..

Blogging is such a huge interest of mine, from making it the topic of my final year final major project and my dissertation to now like I said, reading blogs every single day, so it seems silly I not do it myself. I've tried and tried and it's not that I get disheartened or lose the general interest or desire to uphold a blog, it's more like I lose focus and give my time to other aspects in my life such as sleep, my boyfriend and spending time to myself out of work. But not no more, I shall juggle!

One of my many New Years resolutions is to make blogging a more frequent thing for me this year and I hope to actually bloody stick to it. I'm not going to make unrealistic goals such as blog everyday or everyday, more once a week to start off with and get into a routine. Another one of my resolutions is to become more organised and well planned so this would help with the whole thing so I can plan my blogging time more efficiently. I have also splurged and treated myself to a brand new iPad mini, no I haven't gotten into some money, I just saved up some moolah! So this iPad will be my saviour to fulfil my resolution of blogging more as it's quick and easy and I love being on it.

So here I go! This time I better not fail, If I do I'm giving up forever. Now or never.
