July Favourites

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic
Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Moisturiser
Revlon Colourburst Lipstick - 030 Fuchsia
Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish - 37 Rossetto (?)
Not That Kind Of Girl - Lena Dunham
St Tropez Gradual Tan Everyday Body Lotion

I know this is late and I've been away for a little while (settling into new job and new role all exciting and time consuming) but I believe I haven't missed one of these since February (?) so better late than never.

This month I have been experimenting with lip colour and I've really enjoyed it and discovering which shades actually suit me and which ones I should really never wear again. So I've put away the nudes and been bold, bright and brilliant, and these two have been my favourite of this month. They're the Rimmel Kate in Rossetto I think it's called, but it's 37, that's clear, and the Revlon Colourbust in Fuchsia. I've actually had the Revlon lipstick for ages, just never really worn it that much, and the Kate was a purchase from earlier on in the month when I was on the hunt for a fun flirty shade to wear for a festival I went to last month, which was unreal.

I have used the Clinique Anti Blemish 3-step ever since I was a young teenager and it really helped with my skin, but I wanted something new and fresh in my life. I bought into the Liz Earle Cloth Cleanser a few months back and love love it, so I looked to the Liz Earle stand to show me the way to my new fresh face. The woman recommended these two products, the Instant Boost Tonic and the Skin Repair Moisturiser in Light. They. Are. Amazing. My skin really feels so rejuvenated and vibrant. They're a god send!

I do not tan naturally. Since my friend introduced me to sunbeds in my first year of uni, I was, well, not addicted, but I liked going on them frequently and felt sad and incomplete if I hadn't had a few in a week. Only during the summer months I sunbed'd, but I did it quite a lot. This year however I said no to myself after reading one scary article too many and have sworn off the sunbeds (maybe not forever, I'll try to anyway) so this summer I have embraced the fake tan. I suck at applying and upkeeping fake tan. I suck at it so so so much. It's so much effort and no matter how hard I try, it always ends up streaky and flakey and disgusting. So I went full out and got St Tropez (usually St Moritz) and it's actually working out not toooooo badly. The Gradual Tan works a lot better for me than the other tan I bought from them (see post here). It comes up really well and it's a lot of pain to apply and upkeep and the colour is natural and nice.

Finally for this months favourites is this book which I have wanted to purchase for months and months. It finally came out on paperback, I saw it in Waterstones, the rest is history. It's 'Not that Kind of Girl' by Lena Dunham. I loved her so much in Girls so I just had to read this. I read a massive chunk of this book on a train journey to Brighton with my boyfriend the other day and I couldn't stop laughing. One bit really tickled me, it was something about social media I think, but it was jokes and I'm really enjoying it, and reading again as a whole! I also read the Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter recently which was a good read and also visually enjoyable.

July Wishlist | LLWXO

1. Topshop Yellow Rain Mac - here
2. Topshop Lace Up Flats - here
3. River Island Rose Gold Watch - here
4. Missguided Studded Tan Clutch - here
5. Motel Striped Playsuit - here
6. ASOS Cuff - here
7. Juju Jelly Shoes - here
8. Topshop Leaf Jumpsuit - here

I haven't done a wish list post in forever and making this I have no idea why, they're the best! First up is this rain mac from Topshop. I've always wanted a yellow rain mac to look adorable in! They're not just for toddlers! I love the gingham detailing on the cuffs as well, extra adorable. AND a sensible purchase as it's not ever going to stop raining in England. Another Topshop pick are these lace up flats I've seen everywhere but want want want.

I love watches and rose gold, so I need a combination of the both. I found this one from River Island and it's lush! Next up is this bag from Valentino Missguided HOW MUCH DOES IT LOOK LIKE THE ROCKSTUD STUFFFFF I love the Valentino range so when I saw this bad boy it just had my name all over it, it's gorgeous! It's like £18 as well so much more easy going on the purse strings than Valentino.

I love Motel Rocks but haven't ever purchased from the website! I was browsing and I saw this playsuit I really really want as it looks so versatile. It would make a great casual playsuit with some lace up flats, or a smart formal one with tights and a blazer, OR a formal/going out look with some nice black heels and a cute clutch! When I shop I look for how much wear I can get out of something and if I could dress it up or dress it down.

I really badly want an arm cuff or cuff of some sort and I saw this one on ASOS I really like. It's gold with monochrome stone detailing and it's mega cheap and cute! I'm scared I wont be able to pull it off though... we'll see.

When I was a kid I had some jelly shoes but my mum wouldn't let me get a heeled pair, as I was young, but I really badly wanted some, just had to make do with the flats. Well now i'm technically an adult (even though I act like a disney obsessed seven year old) I can wear heeled jellies! Woohoo! I love the Juju jelly shoes from Union Jack Boots, they're so cute and look mega sturdy.

Finalllllyyyyyyy, this gorgeous Topshop leaf print jumpsuit needs to be in my wardrobe as soon as possible. It's so so so so so pretty and I need it, end of.

Any of these items from my wishlist take your fancy? :)

June Favourites

Yes the year is going too fast, let's begin. First things first, this candle from Primark smells amazing. I've put it by my bed so I can just smell it, It's a watermelon scent and the colour of the candle is amazing and vibrant as well, and it was like £1.50! Bargain.

My lips are a nightmare and I always suffer from dry and chapped lips, that was until I randomly picked this up in Boots. It's the Nivea Essential Care lip balm and it's a god send. My lips haven't felt this uncracked in ages and I can actually wear lipsticks now without it looking all weird and a little bit nasty!

The other blue product in this photo is another random purchase of mine and this is the Rimmel Match Perfection Powder. I swapped my Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural out of my everyday face and this bad boy is here instead. It's so nice and applies really nicely onto my skin as I use it to set my makeup. It lasts pretty long and doesn't make me look cakey and uneven, like Mac tends to do.

I love Juicy Couture perfumes, I have millions, I love love love them. I always wear a scent at a time then swap it around, so at the moment I am rocking the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir. For my birthday just gone I asked my parents for the Viva La Juicy Gold perfume as it was pretty new and I hadn't bought it yet, and instead I received another bottle of Noir (mum got confused bless her) so I literally have about 3 or 4 bottles of this stuff back stocked in my drawer, I love it. (Did eventually receive Gold perfume, merci parents).

I've been giving my used and empty products back to Mac now for years, I love the idea and scheme of it, and plus, free lipstick?! Hell yeah! Although I have read that apparently in America you either get a lipstick or eyeshadow?! Would love the choice as I do have rather a lot of Mac lipsticks now. Anyway, my latest one I chose at the counter is Chatterbox which is an Amplified lipstick. It's a gorgeous pink shade and actually suits me nicely!

I bought a massive Soap and Glory gift box at Christmas time when it was on offer because everyone was talking about how good it was and I've been making my way slowly through it since. I have had this product sat in my bathroom since, unused until I watched people's monthly favourites videos last month and thought I would actually pick it up and use it. Soap and Glory's Sugar Scrub is bloody amazing.. Why haven't I used it sooner. It smells amazing and really makes my skin feel refreshed, smooth and it's just uuuuhh bloody amazing. I will definitely be rebuying this one when it's empty.

Finally, I hate hate hate painting my nails. I'm rubbish at it, I'm inpatient waiting for them to dry and aaaaalways no matter how careful I am, smudge them and get nail polish everywhere. Always. But I've been wearing this Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish in Black a lot recently. I love a good black nail (I am Kylie Jenner after all) and this formula is easy(ish) to apply, dries quickly and stays nice for a few days (if I don't pick it off before hand). I really am useless when it comes to nails, I neeeeeed to sort it out.

And there it is! My monthly favourites! Hope you enjoyed them! Please give us' a comment and follow if you did! Stick around for more from me coming up soon!

Beauty Haul | Boots and MAC

OGC Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo
OGC Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner
OGC Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream
MAC Eye Kohl in I Get No Kick
New Look Pure Colour Baked Highlighter Powder
St Tropez Gradual Tan Lotion
St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse
St Tropez Prep and Maintain Tan Applicator Mitt
St Tropez Prep and Maintain Tan Build Up Remover Mitt

Well I had one of those days when I went out for one thing then...... this happened. When you're trying to save, moments like these are painful, but slightly enjoyable. So let's begin..

I watched a Zoella video and she spoke about these hair products, but I think she spoke about the coconut one, anyway I got the argan oil one as I think it sounded good and I've never tried argan oil before, and I'm currently trying this whole coconut oil pulling with my teeth so slightly sick of coconut oil.. It was also on a 3 for 2 offer, which is always fun, so I was glad to find they did a curl defining cream. I have naturally curly (and frizzy) hair so I always leave it to air dry, so I have tried all sorts of these lotions and potions, hopefully this one lives up to my high hopes for it.

I walked through John Lewis to get to Asda and accidentally looked at the mac counter and saw this which caught my eye. It's like a glittery pretty gold colour, I never use these eye kohl pencils or anything like this, so it's a tiny bit exciting. I've been lusting over the Mac Soft and Gentle highlighting powder for ageeees now, but I found this in New Look, which is there new makeup range. It's not as pigmented or comes off as easily as I'm sure the Mac version does, but it's pretty none the less.

I have a small addiction to sunbeds and have for a few years now, ONLY for the summer though, not like a year round thing. I will pop on one a few times a month in the summer, but I love it. Until this year when I read one article too many about skin cancer and the horrible battles people face because of issues such as sun beds and too much sun exposure without sun creme. I have decided to ditch the sunbeds for good and I am now switching to good old tan in a bottle. I was looking at the cheap stuff then I saw that St Tropez was on offer so I decided to splurge. I got the gradual tan lotion and also the self tan bronzing mousse. I such majorly at tan application so I also invested in their mitts, the application one and the one to get it off. I am hoping I will not suck too bad and walk round with a streaky awful tan, but hey, better than a sunbed!

Aaaaand thats it folks! I hope you enjoyed this post! Please give us a comment and follow for more!

Double Denim | Ootd

Coat - New Look
Top - Gap
Jeans - Gap
Boots - Primark

I haven't Double Denim'd since the 90s.. I am so in love with this outfit right now. These jeans are so comfortable. I haven't really liked myself in white denim before, until I found these Gap beauties. I'm not a maaaaaassive fan of my legs.. and white never ever looks good on me, bottoms wise, but I love these! They're the Slim Straight fit and have some slight distressing on the jean, which I really like. I've never trusted myself in white however as I tend to always get mucky no matter how hard I try not too, but I just managed a full day without getting these dirty, don't know how. This top is also from Gap and it's gorgeous. It has a slight open back and it's really soft, also comfortable too.

I'm so happy I finally found a pair of white jeans I acccctually can wear without cringing at myself when I look at me in them! And the ripped detailing on them is so nice. I have a feeling they'll be popping up more on the blog.

Everyday Face

Can I just firstly say how proud I am for this still-life set up. I can without a doubt preach that this consists of my daily face. I am one of those beings who chose 10 more minutes in bed than 10 more getting ready, I know, shame on me. I have managed to get applying my make-up into a 5 minute routine, and tends to get me through my working day (or whatever I'm up to, usually work though).

Starting off with a cleaning and moisturising combo, I apply Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, which is one of my favourite foundations on the high street. I apply this with honestly, whichever of my brushes is clean, but I usually use my Sigma flat kabuki brush or one of the Real Techniques brushes. I then use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which is again, my favourite concealer on the high street. It's beyond amazing and covers up my eye-baggles and blemishes well and lasts long on my face. I dab this onto my face in all the right areas I want it on, then use a clean concealer brush from my collection (not to brag, I have a few!). I really don't like using my fingers to apply makeup so I will rarely.

I then set this with my old trusty favourite, the Mac Mineralise Skin Finish Natural. I have been using this for years and years. I've never really tried anything else in the powder department, which is something I am looking to change, but for now, this will do amazingly. I then use Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder with my large Sigma powder brush. Lost count how many of these I have gone through!

I then apply on my eyelids the Mac Paint Pot in Painterly, another product I have used religiously for years. This everyday face line up seriously hasn't changed much over the years, just the foundation to something cheaper as girl couldn't afford Dior and Mac for everyday foundation! I don't tend to bother with eyeshadow everyday, if I do I will use my Urban Decay Naked 2 or 3 palette for something quick and easy. I do always however apply eyeliner to the top lip, and I use (not pictured) the Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Eyeliner.

Quick swipe of Benefit's Gimme Brow to tame the 'brows, and a swipe or two of either Benefit Roller Lash or Maybelline Lash Sensational which both do the same thing, curl and lengthen my lashes. I honestly love both, but maybe Roller Lash a tad more..  THEN last but not least, I give Mac Fix + a good spray on my face.

It may change a little but mainly 100% this is my everyday makeup line up. It's quick, easy and works for me. I have used the products for many years now, and I love love them.

Which products are in your Everyday Face makeup routine?

Ootd | Interview Outfit

Sleeveless Blazer - New Look
Tights - Primark
Bracelet - Pandora
Shoes - New Look (Old)

I had an interview a little while ago and I wanted to share what I wore for it. I kindly received this dress and it saved my life. I had no idea what to wear. I did plan an outfit but last minute the day of, my mind decided I didn't like the chosen outfit anymore, and the panic commenced. Luckily this bad boy was hanging up and I love love love it. This dress is fitted with a knot detailing at the front, and is very flattering. I have worn it several times since and it has made its way firmly in my staple items.

I wore it with this white sleeveless blazer from New Look. The sleeveless outerwear trend has been big for spring and I'm loving it so much. I have one of these in way too many colours, it's such an easy look to pull off and can transform any look, whether it be casual or formal.

I also hated what I had chosen to wear on my feet, standard, so I wore these old New Look pumps with the metal bar detail. I really like these style of shoes, and for once I find them comfy. I don't know what it is with my feet, anything that isn't trainers, they don't like.

I hope you like this outfit! Please leave and comment and follow :)

April Favourites

Oh hello H&M Home marble effect tray <3 Yes it's now May time and like everyone else, I have collected my products I have reached for the most this month and typed about them. ENJOY!

First things first, (Iggy Azealia tune) I kid.. Nip + Fab have been a favourite brand of mine for the past few months, with my obsession growing mad, mainly for the Glycolic range products. I LOVE the cleanser as well but it was in my shower during photographing time and I didn't want my bed to get all wet and gunky, but the cleanser is definitely a monthly obsession of mine, and this overnight serum. Well them all really, but I couldn't shoot them all for this image (trays too small).

The other month when I was doing my stock up of Rimmel's Wake me Up foundation, I picked up this BB cream as I had never tried it before and wanted to see if this was any good or not. I didn't use it much but lately I've really been grabbing this for some reason. It's quick and easy to apply and it doesn't make my skin look all blotchy, anddd powder goes nicely on top of it which I like.

Lash Sensational is brilliant. I am obsessed with Benefit's Rollerlash but this is just as good. It's so good for my everyday quick grab mascara and makes my lashes look long and luscious. It's a pain in the bum to get off sometimes I've found but other than that, it's amazeballs.

I recieved the Zoeva Luxury Rose Gold brush collection for Valentines day from the boyf and they're amazing brushes. It does mean now if he catches me looking at brushes he's always like 'but I brought you brushes, you don't need anymore..' but what do men know, ey. This Luxe Sheer Cheek brush is by far my favourite from the collection, (excuse the dirtiness) as it puts on my product amazingly and easily. And doesn't it just look pretty (prettier when actually clean).

Finally to a constant and trusty favourite of mine, the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions moisturiser. I have been using from the Clinique Anti-Blemish collection for years now, and this moisturiser is just great. It feels so nice and refreshing on the skin, sinks in lovely and helps clear up my problem skin, which is awful at the moment... gods sake.

And there they are in all their splendour. I hope you enjoyed this post, give it a comment if so, and be sure to follow on Bloglovin for more posts from moi!

Nip + Fab Review | Glycolic Fix Range

Glycolic Fix Serum
Glycolic Fix Pads
 Glycolic Fix Cleanser
Glycolic Scrub Fix

I have been wanting to try from Nip + Fab and more specifically the Glycolic Fix range for ages now. Not just because Kylie Jenner is the new ambassador for them (although Kylie is Queen), but because I've just heard such good things about these products and I'm on a massive skincare hype at the moment.

I have only been using these for a little while now, but I can clearly see the results already. My skin feels so much cleaner, purer and softer, and my annoying constant redness is dying down! Praise the lord! Having these products also makes me actually want to use them and look after my skin.

Each one of these products is super easy to use and apply, and in my eyes, seem to be working well. Which I'm mega happy about as if I were to hate these products I'd be quite upset, as Nip + Fab are a brand I love and Kylie is Queen. If they're good enough for her then they must be amazing!

I keep the cleanser and scrub in the bathroom and either use them in the shower or just over the sink before bed or when I'm getting ready for the day. I don't use both each time but they do work so nicely together, well, as they should! The scrub is great when you've had a heavy makeup day, as it feels so good getting it all off and having a good facial scrub, and the cleanser is more gentle to use.

The rest sit with all my other products and I love using the pads as they make my face feel so clean! I will use them twice a day religiously and I love the overnight serum. It doesn't feel too heavy and dries really quickly on my skin.

My favourite from the range, well this is tough as I love them all, but probably has to be the Cleanser as I love the feeling after I use it and it's so nice to use.

I ordered these off Superdrug's online site as they had an amazing offer at the time but you can buy directly off their website here, with free UK delivery on all orders over £10, which is amazing, and I will definitely be repurchasing these items when they're all gone so I will at one point take advantage off the free delivery.

Next I would love to try their Yoga Blend range, as they sound lush and nice to use. Also their Dragon's Blood range sounds good too! All the Nip + Fab!

Have you tried any Nip + Fab products? What do you think of the Glycolic Fix range?

Thank you for reading! Please comment and follow if you did for more blogposts uploaded regularly.

Lush Easter Collection | Mini Haul

I know it's after Easter but I had this on draft and thought theyre too sweet not to post!

I didn't mean to pop into Lush at all as I'm trying so hard to save money, but I have spotted so many pretty things on Instagram and it was hard walking past the shop without at least looking inside.... and whoops, I picked up this cute little Bunny, and then went to the till where shamelessly but cleverly placed was this Easter Egg which I smelt and then could not walk away without buying. Both these products look so cute and smell amazing, especially the Easter Egg, and I cannot wait to try them.

The Hoppity Poppity bath bomb was £2.50 and looks so sweet I don't want to use it! The product contains popping candy which I'm really excited to see how it goes whilst in the bath, should be hopefully interesting!

Then next is the Fluffy Egg bath bomb which is £2.95 AND SMELLS AMAZING. Any fan of Snow Fairy (I have been buying Snow Fairy religiously every Christmas for years now, it's the best) will be immediately drawn to this bath bomb after smelling, as the candy floss scent is just so yummy, I just can't. I can't. It smells so so so so good. I'm hoping it works as good in the bath as it does smells!

And I had to stop here otherwise I would've walked out leaving all my money in the till, which I would love to do but it isn't wise at all!

Did you buy anything from the Lush Easter collection?
