Nip + Fab Review | Glycolic Fix Range

Glycolic Fix Serum
Glycolic Fix Pads
 Glycolic Fix Cleanser
Glycolic Scrub Fix

I have been wanting to try from Nip + Fab and more specifically the Glycolic Fix range for ages now. Not just because Kylie Jenner is the new ambassador for them (although Kylie is Queen), but because I've just heard such good things about these products and I'm on a massive skincare hype at the moment.

I have only been using these for a little while now, but I can clearly see the results already. My skin feels so much cleaner, purer and softer, and my annoying constant redness is dying down! Praise the lord! Having these products also makes me actually want to use them and look after my skin.

Each one of these products is super easy to use and apply, and in my eyes, seem to be working well. Which I'm mega happy about as if I were to hate these products I'd be quite upset, as Nip + Fab are a brand I love and Kylie is Queen. If they're good enough for her then they must be amazing!

I keep the cleanser and scrub in the bathroom and either use them in the shower or just over the sink before bed or when I'm getting ready for the day. I don't use both each time but they do work so nicely together, well, as they should! The scrub is great when you've had a heavy makeup day, as it feels so good getting it all off and having a good facial scrub, and the cleanser is more gentle to use.

The rest sit with all my other products and I love using the pads as they make my face feel so clean! I will use them twice a day religiously and I love the overnight serum. It doesn't feel too heavy and dries really quickly on my skin.

My favourite from the range, well this is tough as I love them all, but probably has to be the Cleanser as I love the feeling after I use it and it's so nice to use.

I ordered these off Superdrug's online site as they had an amazing offer at the time but you can buy directly off their website here, with free UK delivery on all orders over £10, which is amazing, and I will definitely be repurchasing these items when they're all gone so I will at one point take advantage off the free delivery.

Next I would love to try their Yoga Blend range, as they sound lush and nice to use. Also their Dragon's Blood range sounds good too! All the Nip + Fab!

Have you tried any Nip + Fab products? What do you think of the Glycolic Fix range?

Thank you for reading! Please comment and follow if you did for more blogposts uploaded regularly.

March Favourites

Clinque - Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Gel
MAC - Velvet Teddy
Nip +  Fab - Glycolic Fix pads
Benefit - Watts Up
Benefit - Roller Lash

I like doing monthly favourites as it reminds me to start sorting out all my bills and that. Also makes me realise how fast the months actually go by! You always hear people saying 'I can't believe it's April already!' or so on, but I literally cannot believe it! It's insane how quickly months go by!

My skin is awful at the moment and I hate it! I've properly gone on a skincare hype right now, just ordered a load of Nip + Fab skincare products I've been dying to try, and my favourite so far has to be these Glycolic Fix facial pads. You wipe all over your face with them and afterwards it feels so fresh and nice. The only thing I don't like about this product is the fact the tub doesn't really feel like its shut properly, so I worry the pads will all dry up, but other than that the product itself is really nice.

And again with the skincare, I swear by this Clinque spot gel, swear by it. If I feel a spot coming or ones come and is giving me grief, I just pop this on it either once or twice, and then it calms down and then disappears. I have religiously used the Clinque Anti-Blemish range since I was a young teenager and will forever to (unless I find something completely amazing to take over the range) as it just works well for my skin and its just the best in my eyes!

My boyfriend did something incredibly sweet this month. We just went to Amsterdam for a mini break on our week off and he told me on our last day that I had a surprise waiting for me when I got home. I had literally no idea what it was and when we got back there was a package and inside was Velvet Teddy, something I had been wanting for bloody ages and I'm pretty sure the girls in my local Mac store are sick of me asking about. It was so sweet how he knew, although he had been with me a few times when I had gone in and asked whilst buying something else, but still. He's the best! I've been wearing it loads, it's a really beautiful shade. I feel like I can't wear anything heavy on the eyes with it though as I feel like a drag queen, but its such a beautiful lip colour.

And finally, I swear I've had these before but I LOVE THem and they're the Benefit Watts Up and the RollerLash which is life changing. I really want to try Mac's Soft and Gentle, but for now, Watts Up makes it onto my face nearly every single day, it just gives the best glow. And RollerLash actually gives me lashes, and it's just an amazing beautiful product. I has made me want to try the They're Real mascara as well, but again, for now, RollerLash just dominates my mascara collection, all others are irrelevant now.

Have any of these products made your monthly favourites as well?

And that's it folks! Thank you for reading, please comment and follow for more from my blog!

Lush Lately..

Alike every young adult in the country right now, I am loving lush. I have always done but lately it's all I have been wanting to spend my money on. My recent purchase has been the one that seems everyone has been buying according to my Instagram feed, but why the hell not, it looks amazing and who doesn't want a unicorn melting fabulously in their bath. The product I have actually used recently has been the Granny Takes a Dip. I always see mixed things about this one and this was my first time using it but I actually really enjoyed it. The colours were great, especially when it had finished fizzling, it left this beautiful hot pink shade which I enjoyed bathing in. The scent and feeling of my skin when I finished my bath was fab as well, so overall I really enjoyed this product, which was actually not one I picked myself but one my amazing boyfriend surprised me with last week when I got home from work which was the best thing ever.

My next bath will be filled with magic and sparkles and I cannot wait to use the Unicorn horn. I am also looking into buying the new Prince Charming shower gel, as anything with marshmallow on the label has me reaching for my purse, cannot resist.

What have you been loving in Lush lately? And have you bought the new Unicorn Horn yet? Be honest...... Well you're definitely planning to if not ;)

what did the postman bring me today...

student loan is in, so what is the first thing i do? order myself the urban decay naked 2 palette, and it FINALLY CAME!

I've been after it for ages, and have been in debate with myself over whether or not to get the first original one of the second one but i went with the second one after reading and watching about 600,000 reviews on it (thank you each and every blogger who has made a review and comparison post/video on the naked palettes, lifesavers!).

since there isn't a house of fraser near my uni house, which is odd as i thought there was a HOF in every single town, I had to get it delivered and if I spent like £20 more I would get free delivery so I had a look around the site and came across their mascara section. I ran out of my YSL shocking which was my high end mascara of that time, I try to refrain from buying and keeping more than one expensive high end mascara at a time since mascara should be refreshed every so often, and if I had a huge collection of them I'd never use them all up and wouldn't have the heart to chuck them! so i had a look, was eyeing up YSL's babydoll mascara, then googled 'What mascara does Kylie Jenner use?'

Yes I'm being serious, I did google that.. I love her okay...

to discover that she always raves about the Lancome Hypnose Star mascara, so I bought it. One step closer to looking like Kylie Jenner! I haven't used it yet so I will have to do a nice little review on it! It also came with a little facial bottle, guessing it's eye-make up remover and a mini crayon khol pencil in noir. I'm not a huge eyeliner pencil fan but i shall definitely try it out I guess! why not!

Sorry about the AWFUL quality, hopefully a new camera is in sights..

the final two items the Postman kindly brought to my door were my 2 FREE Disney DVDs. YES ABSOLUTELY FREE! I never ever have used them Disney Reward vouchers that you get when you buy the DVD, no idea what they did, until one day I entered them in to see what happens and I had enough points to receive 2 free DVDs! SAFE! I chose Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland. I love these two films! My Disney collection is looking so good right now, I literally am a child I swear! Mental age of 5!

so that is my haul, I really hate my camera's quality. I've had this camera for about 7 years now so i'm looking into swapping it in for a newer model. it was only £50 when I first bought it and it's shocking haha. I'm really wanting to invest in a DSLR whatever they're called, but I don't know where to begin! need to research some decent camera models and brands!

Thanks for reading, hope you liked it and see you next blogpost!

my new little boots,

I had a £40 Topshop gift voucher given to me from my work experience and had been searching for something to buy with it for months. Finally I found these beauties of boots,

They're incredibly comfortable and look so cute for Autumn. They also keep your feet so warm so they'll also be perfect for winter (that's if I don't ruin them from wearing them every single day!). I wore them to the zoo and felt like Lara Croft running round in boots, thankfully I didn't get them dirty! I am now growing an obsession for Topshop boots, as I bought another pair straight after these ones, and am eyeing up my next pair. My other boots, which are black with buckles down them, aren't as comfy though, so I'm scared to wear them! I need to break them in and make them less blister causing ankle ripping..

Do you like Topshop's boots, and have you bought any lately?

Until next blogpost!

review - no7 skin illuminator

with my £5 off voucher from Boots, i bought this skin illuminator. i've always wanted to try one, and had my eye on benefit's high beam, but i thought this would be a great tester and practise before i spend big bucks!

there are two tones available and i got the PINK, the over option is PEACH.

it's packaged in a box and comes in a tube/brush format. to turn the brush on you rotate the tube neck onto the 'on' posistion, fairly simple. you squeeze the tube and the product comes out, beware, it comes out at a fast speed! to turn off you simply rotate round to the 'off' posistion.

i don't really like the brush it comes with, i find it's a little on the large size when it comes to face illuminators, so i like to use a concealer brush (a no7 one i also purchased with the voucher!) then dab it onto the areas to higlight, then use my finger to blend.

overall i really liked this product! first time i used it was when i also wore revlon's photoready foundation, which already gives off a dewy, glowy effect, so i couldn't really tell the impact. then i wore it with my every day foundation (clinque's anti blemish solutions liquid foundation) to see if it really did give off a glow and highlight my face, and it did. i'm very glad i bought this!
♥ it!
